Bunches of Baby Boy Quilts
Simple striped gradient quilt for a newly adopted baby |
My family and friends have been welcoming many sweet little baby boys the past several months including our grandson, two new great-nephews, and several babies of friends!
In light of all these new boys, my recent baby sewing has taken on a decidedly blue tint. Here's a peek at some of what I've been sewing:
This is our grandson, Timothy's quilt made with jungle animal fabrics. It's a lattice quilt based on this pattern.
I made a matching basket to hold diapers and such using the Noodlehead pattern.

And here's Baby T. himself! (With his daddy on our recent camping trip) |
For a friend who has a baby with some serious medical needs, I made this triangle quilt. Yep, you can see I used many of the same fabrics as from Timothy's quilt. I wanted this one to be extra-snuggly, so I backed it with Minky. Ummm - love the softness that gives!
Rounding out my current baby boy quilt series is this one for a sweet great-nephew.
Down by the Sea quilt for Baby A. |
I continued the wave theme by quilting it with wavy lines, and it's been washed, so it's doubly crinkly.
But what's the use of a baby quilt without a baby, right? So here he is!
Oh, I almost forgot. Here's one more. This one isn't just for boys, and rather than sending this to a new home, I'm keeping it here to serve as a floor play mat for any visiting little people.

And the back...
Well, that wraps up my current crib quilt series. Hurrah for baby boys! But I've had some recent news about a darling little girl who should make her appearance sometime next December. Yeah for little girls, too!
